American made single shot muzzle loading percussion plains rifle using Black Powder (or Pyrodex or similar powder) only, and chambered for .50 Caliber. Rifle features a blued finish with brass components, a 29" octagon barrel, blade/bead front sight, fully adjustable barrel mounted rear sight, wood ramrod under barrel, half stock with brass plated fittings, right hand cheek rest, brass-colored crescent butt-plate, brass-colored patch box, brass-colored smooth curved double-set triggers, case-colored lock and hammer, and serrated hammer spur. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with scattered superficial scratches. Metal displays scattered rust, and no observed deformation. Some of the brass-colored fittings are displaying edge wear, and thinning of the finish. Bore shows strong rifling, but there is some rust towards the muzzle. The action smooth and crisp. The hardwood stock is also very good with light scattered dings and scratches, and a small white spot on the left side by the chamber.
